Strive Technical was founded in Bristol in 2018 by a team of experienced recruiters who shared a single conviction: that recruitment in business operations could be done better. Too often, hiring in sectors like Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management was treated as a transactional exercise — a numbers game focused on filling seats rather than finding the right fit.

We set out to change that. From day one, our approach has been to build genuine, lasting relationships with both clients and candidates. We take the time to understand the culture of every organisation we partner with, the nuances of each role, and the career aspirations of every professional we represent. This deep understanding is what enables us to make placements that truly work — for everyone involved.

Starting with a core focus on Finance and HR recruitment, we quickly earned a reputation in the South West for our specialist knowledge, honest advice, and consultative style. Clients returned to us because we delivered results. Candidates recommended us because we genuinely cared about their careers. That word-of-mouth growth allowed us to expand into Legal and Compliance recruitment in 2019 and add a dedicated Risk Management division in 2022.

Today, Strive Technical is proud to have completed over 500 successful placements across the UK. Our Bristol roots remain at the heart of everything we do, but our reach now extends nationally. Recognising growing demand, we broadened our service offering to include Legal and Compliance recruitment, hiring dedicated consultants with sector-specific experience.

Launched Virtual Recruitment Services

When the world changed, we adapted fast. We rolled out a fully virtual recruitment process, including video interviewing, remote onboarding support, and digital assessment tools.
